Megha and Dillan’s wedding felt big and beautiful, but still really personal. The Gaylord National Resort gave the day an incredible setting, and their connection brought the warmth. From quiet smiles to little moments with family, the whole celebration felt full of meaning.
The morning started in a calm, easy way as Megha got ready in her deep red and gold lehenga. With her closest people around her, there was a quiet sense of excitement in the room. Later, that feeling shifted completely as the baraat brought music, movement, and so much joy into the resort.
Under the Gaylord’s tall glass atrium, the white floral mandap made the ceremony space feel bright and peaceful. Megha’s red and gold outfit stood out beautifully against the soft flowers and greenery, and the natural light made everything feel open and airy.
The ceremony was filled with meaningful traditions, family moments, and plenty of happiness between Megha and Dillan. Even in such a large space, the day still felt centered on the two of them. A hand held, a quick look, or a small laugh said a lot.
As the day moved into the reception, Megha changed into a sparkling ivory look and Dillan wore a classic black tuxedo. The room had a different feel by then, with candlelight, modern florals, and everyone ready to celebrate.
Their reception entrance brought the energy up right away. Family and friends cheered them on, and Megha and Dillan still carried that same sweet, easy connection from earlier in the day. Their first dance took place under a low layer of fog, which made the moment feel romantic without feeling overdone.
Later in the evening, we stepped outside for portraits with the illuminated National Harbor wheel behind them. Away from the movement of the reception, Megha and Dillan had a moment to settle into one another and enjoy the evening together.
